Providing insights into his early life, the film takes us through Mandela’s childhood, adolescence, career in law and first marriage. Mandela is an absorbing look at the courageous life, tribulations and fortitude of Mandela the leader, while never forgetting the engaging and charismatic spirit of Mandela the man. Film features exclusive interviews and narration from Mandela himself.

The collection consists of: Close-up portraits of Nelson Mandela with New York City Mayor, David Dinkins, at Gracie Mansion and at a Harlem rally. Mandela meeting with African National Congress leader, Oliver Tambo, and the Reverend Jesse Jackson in Stockholm. Mandela sparring with South African boxing champion, Jerry Moloi, during the Treason Trial in 1957.
