Africa Media online , Founder and Director,
A journalist and photographer by trade David founded Africa Media Online in 2000.
David’s passion, to see Africans telling Africa’s story to African and global audiences has led him to develop systems for the effective delivery of media content, develop training that ensures African media and heritage professionals are keeping up with global trends and standards, and develop markets for Africa’s story. He has also been involved in initiating a number of heritage and media related projects to further the vision of Africans telling Africa’s story.
Specialties: Expertise in African Media. We have developed a digital trade route for African media and heritage institutions to have their collections digitised (scanned/digitally captured, retouched and keyworded), put online in a secure way and presented to a global audience including the trade of use rights/IP rights. We also provide training in digital imaging so that African media and heritage professionals are on the cutting edge in terms of digital standards.
