Other partners such as the WDB, African Development Bank (ADB), Banking Council, Independent Development Trust (IDT) and other microfinance institutions including the broader community of social entrepreneurs participated in this session.
Professor Yunus aimed at stimulating a robust dialogue and conversation about microcredit, microfinance or social business as a tool to address poverty, based on the Grameen Bank model.

The venue for the lecture was Johannesburg’s Linder Auditorium. The theme of the lecture was: Memory, Justice and Reconciliation.
