Nelson Mandela Foundation and representatives from various political parties paying tribute to veterans of the liberation struggle at a special luncheon in Sandton, Johannesburg. In celebration of South Africa's struggle for liberation and democracy and to remind South Africans once in a while to stop, pause and give thanks to veterans of our struggle.
Proceedings of the HIV/AIDS dialogue held at the Nelson Mandela Foundation attended by deputy minister Noziwe Madlala- Routledge. The dialogue was part of the process of reviewing the Nation Strategic plan on HIV/AIDS. Input from the participants was submitted to the National Department of Health to influence policymaking.

The Malibongwe Dialogue, with and about stalwarts of the struggle for freedom, and the role that women played during those difficult, and often truly dark, years, achieved a remarkable level of candour, unmindful of organisational or ideological loyalties.
