Includes the 1952 suspension of Mandela’s registration as an LLB student (1952 - 1980).
News clippings from various South African newspapers, covering subjects such as Mandela’s class of 1946 re-union at Wits University, a suspected bid to kill Mandela on Robben Island in 1969 and Mandela’s autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom.
Correspondence programmes, speeches, invitations and photographs concerning the special graduation ceremony in which Mandela was awarded an honorary doctorate in law at the University of the Witwatersrand, September 1991.
