0300 President Mandela and delegation depart Air Force Base Waterkloof for Uganda 0730 Arrive at Entebbe International Airport
The Ugandan Chief of Protocol will invite President Mandela to disembark from the aircraft. (The rest of the South African delegation to proceed to the receiving line)
The Ugandan Chief of Protocol will introduce President Mandela to President Museveni President Mandela to be presented with a bouquet of flowers
President Mandela to be introduced to the Vice President, the Vice Chairman of the National Resistance Movement and the Prime Minister of Uganda
The President will then be welcomed by the Commander of the Ugandan Armed Forces, the Inspector-General of Police and the Commissioner-General of Prisons
President Mandela and Museveni proceed to the dais National Anthems

The Parade Commander asks for permission to march of the colour. Colours are marched off.
The Master of Ceremonies concludes the ceremony.
1225 President Mandela and delegation depart for the Sheraton Hotel.
1230 Arrival at the Sheraton Hotel. President Mandela takes leave of President Museveni and proceeds to the Presidential suite.
1255 President Mandela and delegation proceed to the Victoria Restaurant (First Floor) for a luncheon.
1300 Luncheon commences.
1400 Presidents Mandela and Museveni depart for the Masaba Lounge (13th Floor) for a one-on- one meeting.
1430 The Presidents depart for the Press Conference in the Crane Restaurant (First Floor). 1500 President Mandela and delegation for Entebbe International Airport.
1555 Arrive at the Entebbe International Airport. Farewell ceremonies in the reserve order of the arrival ceremonies.
