White certificate housed in maroon tube with gold bordering. Taken out of tube for preservation. Certificate has blue, gold, green, and red seal of the Midlothian Council near the top right corner. Green, gold, and purple thistle is below the seal. Red seal is affixed to lower left corner of certificate. Certificate text, in red, green, gold, and black, reads:
