White certificate in dark blue leather folder with engraved Igbinedion University Okada logo. Folder's interior is lined with cream-colored fabric, and the interior of the front cover has an engraved Igbinedion University Okada logo. Folder housed in a blue box with the Igbinedion University Okada engraved on the lid. Taken out of folder for preservation
Certificate includes the multi-coloured logo of the university near the top. Certificate, written in black text, reads:

Be it hereby certified that upon satisfactory fulfillment of the prescribed requirements the Igbinedion University Okada hereby confers upon Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela the degree of Doctor of Law (LLD) (Honoris Causa) with all the rights, privileges, and honours appertaining thereto in testimony where the seal of the University and the signatures as authorized by the senate and council are hereunto affixed
