Biographical history

Hassen Ebrahim, a lawyer and political activist, began serving as National Co-ordinator of the Negotiations Commission of the African National Congress (ANC) in 1991, and later as a member of the Transitional Executive Council.

Archival history

Ebrahim became the National Coordinator for the ANC's Negotiation Commission in 1992, and in 1994 he was appointed as the Executive Director of the Consitutional Assembly. He held this position until the constitution for South Africa was drafted and adopted in December 1996. These are his personal records from that period.
